Career Sheet

I am looking for a Career Sheet for Classic Traveller. Something that has the Enlistment, Survival, and Promotion rolls, the Skills available, and the Mustering Out tables. I would like to make some small changes to Careers and would love to not need to make another form.

Thanx in advance!

My understanding is that would effectively be recreating several actual rules pages and so won’t be something IMO you’re going to see here.

I have posted several iterations of my version of CT chargens. I post the skill tables and benefits but none of the enlistment/survival/promotion type rolls, thus requiring the books. Also, my skill tables are quite different along with an additional advanced education table, so not standard in any way.

I was thinking about designing some new careers for my CT game. Just wondering if I was duplicating anyone else's work. No worries.

I have a list of all the careers I've collected over the years here: https://traveller-ct.blogspot.com/2020/11/traveller-careers-bibliography.html

There are more out there as I've slowed down getting new stuff as I realized (finally) more is not always better :)

You missed a 3rd Party entry in your table that is an oldie but a goodie for Classic Traveller:

"Star Cops!" by Terry McInnes - Dragon Magazine #88 (September 1986), p. 88-92.

It even has pre-Career Police Academy and a 5 Service-Divisions set-up:
  1. Field
    1. Basic/Main:
      1. Patrol
      2. Traffic
    2. Constabulary (Rural)
    3. Investigative (Elite)
  2. Admin
A very well-done write-up.

I did mention that these are just the ones I actually have, either in print or PDF. I've slowed down getting more stuff as I have so much already it actually gets confusing to keep track of things. There are probably dozens or hundreds of other careers out there in various fanzines, actual game magazines and various web sites. Think I ran across a few on the old Traveller Web Ring. That was so much fun just hitting random and finding interesting nuggets of fun.

edit: I may add a section for those that I do not have, such as the one you mentioned. but probably not, I use it as a resource for my players. Starting an actual Traveller game in a few weeks and yes, someone picked the prostitute career. He's been joking for years (nay, decades) about playing a juggling whore for some reason. I've no idea why but now is his chance finally. Going to run the Kinunur though moving it to MTU.
