Canon history of Vreibefger

JAFARR

SOC-14 1K
Does anyone know of any canonical reference to Vreibefger (2415) in the Lanth subsector of the Marches? Especially what goes on at research station E?

Just what's written in GT's Behind the Claw.

The research station is in a volcanic crater, which is part of a squared off mountain range...

Look at p.14 in Adventure 3 Twilight's Peak.

I used that information to make a small scary scenario.

Thanks, unfortantly I don't have either of those resources. What I had in mind was an old west style gold rush with a tramp merchant bringing in supplies to the research station and being sent somewhere on the planet just in time to get the news of the discovery. I wanted to see what the PCs could do with that opportunity.

1. The discovery is in a remote area. 2. TL is low enough that word of mouth is how the news passed on to other parts of the world. 3. PCs have a big advantage in providing needed equipment and bringing in adventurers to exploit the discovery. 4. Law and government levels are low enough to allow the old west as we know of it to re-occure.

Ahh, they're conducting bioengineering projects on animals ;)

The official line is stock breeding projects to improve meat yields...

German, roughly equivalent to "Super"

Hence Nietzsche Ubermensch
(The Supermen of Nietzsche)

Supercows. Bright Red. 5 metres long. Big S on the side.

Optionally carrying halberds.

Yeah, it really should have been überkuh, but I didn't want to have to answer any questions about what it meant....

Halberds? 5m long? Oh man, ribs forever!

Anyone know the official date for this one? Maybe if I do this to coincide with the setting up of the research station it would work out fine. Either the ship and crew are bringing crew and/or supplies for the station's inital set up, or maybe the advance party responsible for selecting the location the station.
