Any word on the ship combat system in IW?

Is there any word on what the ship combat simulator will be like in GTIW? I hope it's as close as possible to the one in GT and CTSS, but with some fixes to the missile combat rules.

Speaking of combat, since the topic is interstellar wars, will there be any sort of ground vehicle combat rules or mass combat rules in IW?
