Cs = Client State, usually followed by Im (Imperium) or Zh (Zhodani), indicating allegiance of some level to the noted empire.

Although now that I think about it, that's a Spinward Marches-specific reference. I suppose in Gateway for instance or other sectors there could be other "empires" that are referenced.

Since I had the data anyway and just wasn't presenting it, I've added a list of "Pre-T5" codes to the allegiance table at:

(These are shown on the map when you zoom out enough that a 4-character code won't fit.)

I also added the Rebellion faction code to a table on the page. (When T5SS data eventually encompasses M1120 we'll need updated codes for the factions, and those can roll into the main table with milieu annotations.)
