Whoah. Freaky.

I have a friend with a medicine-resistant infection who might benefit from what those little larvae produce. *shudder*

Hmmm.... Which brings up the germ of an adventure: harvesting the anti-microbial compounds from some really big versions of cockroaches which means *really* big versions of the wasp. And, though they might not get the injection location right, the neurotoxin used to "zombify" the cockroaches works on humans, too. Oh the fun you could have .........

Same thing with tomato worms. Around here, you can sometimes see them with larva sticking out of their back. I hear that was one of the inspirations for the movie Alien.
