I hate my tablet sometimes, or Take 2.
Rustin has kept me in the loop, but perhaps not as well as I thought. I didn't realize it was so soon. He keeps trying to me to move out there too, but I am not too keen on coastal living. Hurricanes and such. Plus I hear it rains a lot, and I do hate rain, well being out in it. Indoors and thunderstorms are awesome. :devil:

If you got questions, there is both the forum and of course I can even be bothered to answer questions, though lately Internet has been rather limited, so I would count on some of the other T5 experts to answer, Lord Eaglstone (robject) for instance.
Also, make sure you download and peruse the latest Errata (v. 0.71), the Citizen Life table and the Rouge Schemes have been altered since the book was printed. Oh and if like me you write in your gaming books, leave room, sometimes things revert. Grrr. All in all though, I am a biased raving fan boy so, I think it is pretty awesome as is.
Anyway, company over tomorrow at unholy hours so, I will close here and again wish you well on the move and the game.

Which is why I'll be teaching her T5. because it's amazing too.
she'll be that Hiver I'm figuring out, btw. her 1st Traveller Character, and only her 2nd RPG PC. 48yr old newb.
it's exciting to open a New Universe with a brand new player!
As for Rustin, we're probably moving with greater speed and effect than he might have predicted. {the Lady and I are good at that - he -may- end up a housemate.

Hey now, we don't have hurricanes here, we have monsoons! I would love to get in on this, but I am not sure about having regular time for it. There is a fantastic store here called Guardian Games that would be a great venue for a Traveller game.

I have been hearing good things about them from Rustin. If I didn't have such dislike of coastal living it is one of the few things that is tempting me to get out there.

Hey, incoming neighbor(s), Portland isn't on the coast, doesn't get hurricanes, and isn't monsoonal. The downtown bit does flood kinda often, but compared to what folks on the wrong side of the Rockies experience as "flooding", it's trivial. Welcome 
I'm up in Seattle myself but visit Portland (Powell's) about once a year. If I weren't so attached to having some saltwater exposure, Portland is likely where'd I have been living some of this time!!

Yeah, Portland isn't really coastal. We do get hit hard in monsoon season, though. Powells is the greatest book store on the planet. Just walking there and enjoying its distinct smell of old pages mixed faintly with marijuana always brings me right back to my childhood. It has been a dream of mine to have a bok of mine for sale in Powells. So far they have not stocked Compendiums 2 or 3 and they have some L5R books but none that I wrote for.

Welcome to Portland Ref it seems there is a smallish active community out here I didnt know about.
The rain is nothing compared to hurricanes on the Gulf Coast no matter what people say but it does drizzle often in the winter time. We just give up on umbrellas and wear all weather jackets and layers.
