Interesting being in an eclipse. Gives a good idea of what it might be like under other suns. 90% covered here, and it's still plenty bright enough to see things clearly all the way to the horizon. Overcast is darker than this. Not very warm on the skin, I can see why this level of light wouldn't be very warming, but still very good visibility.

Yep, similar from my location. Given the hour, it's worth noting that there was a VERY yellowish tinge to everything after about 50% progress across the disk. The corona appeared to be almost to 3 diameters across...

So I had this idea to take a selfie with the eclipse. Of course with my luck, it was overcast. But interesting thing I found: even if the camera can't see through the clouds, the light from the eclipsed sun passes through just fine, gets reflected off of my cell phone and on to my face.

Yes, that is a (double) reflection of the eclipse on my forehead.

I'm hoping this activated my Third Eye and I'll now have Psionic powers.
