Who is your favorite superhero?

There are so many good ones. Batman. Superman. Spiderman. Wolverine.

So....which is your favorite?

If it's a team of superheroes you like (Justice League, X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, etc), then name your favorite on that team.

Me? I've got to go with Daredevil. When done "right", he's amazing. The Gothic, Gritty, Darkness gets me. He's a flawed human being with some nasty physical flaws and some amazing gifts.

What about you?

Who's your favorite?

I have to say the World's Greatest Detective, BATMAN is the superhero I am most fond of. In my early teens I had the opportunity to read Batman from the very beginning up tothe then current storyline about Ras Al Ghul and his daughter Tania. Loved how the character of Batman has been developed over time. Sin to say I haven't read any Batman comics for about ten years. I really should check a mag out soon. Hello.

Interesting question. Haven't thought about this yet, 'cause superheroes as a topic is not exactly a part of my popular cultural life. But having the opportunity to think about it allows me to think about it.

And I happen to realize that it is "Curtis Newton", aka "Captain Future".

Ok, he is not so much of a superhero compared with the guys from the Avengers (minus Edward Stark), X-Men, or whatnot. You might say: Dude, that's just the average guy established as a hero. And I respond: he fits into the group of superheros who are not superheroes based on special feats and abilities (aka superpowers), but who are especially skilled and have the proper equipment available like most of the Watchmen, Bruce Wayne, or to a certain degree Edward Stark.

So, yes. It is him: Captain Future.

Best wishes!
Liam

Firestorm.

The original one - Ronnie Raymond & Professor Stein. Eighties thru 90's.

His easy takedown of the Parasite, after the Parasite handed (essentially) the entire Suicide Squad their arses, was just brilliant (peak of his powers & maturity).

I'm torn between Spidey and Wolverine. I likes my supers to be wisecracking snark-factories with the skills to back it up.

Right now, it is Captain America. He's mortal, old fashion, but very tough. He is a good organizer and tactical commander. The movie they did last year was exceptional.

And he's a vet. What's not to like?

For DC it's Batman. I don't really like other DC heroes.

When I was growing up, it was the Avengers. When I got older, the X-Men. Now I'm torn between the two with the movies and such. I was a little disappointed with the new Avengers movie that Ant-Man and Wasp weren't in it. Founding Avengers and all. I was disappointed with X-Men Last Stand because they could have done a movie with 20 or 30 X-Men in a great battle... but didn't. The character Ma-Ma in the recent Dredd movie was closer to Callisto than Dania Ramirez in Last Stand. I could go on...

Iron Man for Marvel now, but it was Thor growing up.

Tough call.

When I was younger, I was all about Marvel, and the X-Men were my favorites. Then along came the "Lets turn all our comics dark and brooding 'cuz it worked for Image" '90s era "Iron Age" marvel. Marvels heroes stopped being heroes and became vigilantes.

DC on the other hand, still wrote stories about "Heroes". I started reading DC.

These days, as you have asked for a favorite, I would have to say, Superman.
