This is my first day off in the last 42 days. Yes, I'm
enjoying it and I'll enjoy the one that follows.

I was suppossed to attend AdventureCon, a local con, on
June 1-3. Due to my coworker quitting without notice two days
before the con, I missed it. Since he and I were the only ones
trained for the site I work at, I had to cover his shifts until
they found a replacement. I've enjoyed the big overtime
paychecks, but they haven't been worth missing the con or
working every day for a month and a half.

Also, in the spirit of having a wild hare up my butt, I've
gone ahead and gotten the necessary business licenses to be
a small publisher. I'm thinking I can try being a d20 product
publisher for awhile, mainly just my own stuff to see if it
can be done and I make a small profit. My current goal is to
just break even between profit and loss.

Yes, I'm thinking about producing licensed Traveller stuff.
I'm definitely not there yet, although I've been doing my
homework on what that would require. Right now, it comes down
to money, credibility, and experience. All of which are good
things to work on, but that all may take time to do.

But for now, I'm catching up on my sleep. I've cleaned
up my neglected apartment, which needed it more than I'd like
to admit. Doing some research on options for my 401K plan at
work. Even managed to go out on a date (and it gives me great
pleasure to know that this 38 year old man can still attract
a 22 year old girl).

Catch ya'll on the flip side.

I'm writing and re-writing some T20 stuff to be submitted for Hunter now. Hunter, I'll take you up on that offer of help for the business once I get it together more. Right now, I'm amused by the junk mail that Studio Cat is getting. I've only been around as a business for less than two months and haven't produced anything yet, but I've still managed to be sent 14 offers for pre-approved credit cards (0% interest for one year! No annual fees! Except when you read the fine print, the interest rate after that one year is between 19% and 26%).

Oh, so that's the trick - go for the younger ones. The olders ones I've dated since my divorce have had too many issues. Or maybe I did, too. Looking forward to some cool new Traveller stuff from you.

I'll try not to envy you your youth and robbing the cradle But only because you hint at making Traveller goodness.

Let me know if I can help in anyway on the publishing end. Always happy to answer questions!
