Well, my wife and I had planned a New England and Canada cruise for our 45th Anniversary in August, but Canada has announced no cruise ships until October, so we are now waiting to see what the cruise company offers us for the cancellation. We are a tad ticked, as we made the final payment a week ago. We have ruled out a Caribbean Cruise for the foreseeable future until the Chinese Flu virus has run its course.

We are looking forward to our church opening for services in the sanctuary tomorrow, and we will be there. Pentecost Sunday seems to be an appropriate time for this.

My friends who are teachers are screaming about the CDC recommendations for schools, which do sound a bit bizarre. In reading them, I keep wondering if any of the people writing these up have any idea about what a grade school is like. One requirement would basically remove three out of every four desks in a room, so your student capacity drops by 75 per cent. My recommendation to them is read them, figure out what might be doable, ignore the rest, and file 13 the printout. That seems to go over very well. I am still on hold with respect to any teaching this summer for the same reason. Highly unrealistic requirements for classrooms.

I definitely am looking forward to a haircut on Thursday, as my shagginess is getting quite annoying. I have not had hair this long even in my college days.

I keep poking away at Space: 1889 ideas, and I need to finish some of the and post them. I also need to get back to work on my image book, but right now, that computer is in use by my wife for income-earning. I may just have to go with less than an optimum book, just to get some income coming in as well.

A good friend of mine is encouraging me to start up a YouTube site with my somewhat non-politically correct history, that which is not mentioned in schools. I keep thinking about that, or doing a class on the U.S. Constitution and why it is the way it is for the home-schoolers in the area. They are the only group of kids who actually got a full school year in classes, for the public schools, they realistically lost an entire year. I can already hear the screams if anyone mentions repeating last year. Fortunately, I do not have to worry about hiring people 3 to 5 years from now, as the lost-year cohort starts to hit the job market. That is going to be messy.

Well, more scattered thoughts tomorrow, probably.
