Get the editable one, many of the graphic presentations for the all important tables are suboptimal for quick lookup.

"Flynn" is a good guy. I follow him on Facebook and elsewhere. I would trust anything he puts out. I wish he hadn't moved his attention off traveler, but it is what it is.

I don't see it that way. I suspect it's more about guaranteeing availability of a game system to support his existing MGT v1 compatible products.

Although right now the v1 rulebook is still up on Drivethru and the writeup starts like this:

"Traveller is back, and it is better than ever! Based on the Classic Traveller rules set, this book has been streamlined for modern roleplaying,...."
