I've only played one, Trauma, in the English translation.Interesting, but wasn't all that smooth a ruleset.

Yes, but... the SJG version is a rewrite, not a translation.

I played Trauma, Rêve du Dragon and another that now I cannot remember by name (about time travel), published by Club des Jeux Déscartes, IIRC, all of them long time ago

I loved Agone RPG but the American side business fell apart and we only saw two supplements for it. That and the root novels were never translated into English kinda killed it. Actually, I should check to see if a translation has been done... it's been awhile.

Bingo.

You're right, it was MEGA.

I guess French games reached Barcelona better than US. I remember the first knowledge I had about D&D (te first RPG I knew about) was in Déscartes game store in Carcasone. Maybe it was 1980 or so...

Default yes !

I played MEGA 2 , included scenarii were great.
A bit too complicated system, maybe...but good.
I played more Simulacres system ( from french Casus Belli publication ) , wich proposed good universes : med fan ( Sangdragon : really good ) , pirates , etc...
