2. Absolutely no reason in the world why he would want to ... I was just amused that the character actually had it within his power to change world history ... That doesn't happen that often ... It was an amusing realization.

PS: the balcony comments should have been a separate post. I had changed topics and was speaking about Jeb wanting to both see the PoW and avoid being put to work. Upon rereading the post, I see how the last line could have been interpreted as a struggle about whether to shoot the Prince or not ... that was not my intent.

Sorry - attack of preoccupation -

Doing prep for my sunday game - and having to review One Ring rules in detail.

One of my sunday players, Peter Newman, is a touch of a rules lawyer, about the same level of such as me, and part of the reason why I put houserules into documents.

So I have been boning up on the One Ring rules. Add to that a strong bit of depression. (Yeah, I get blue funk in the summer, not the winter.) And work monday and tuesday mornings. (17 physicals on tuesday - me as the patient - Physician Assistant exams.)

Wil, sorry to hear you've been feeling down. IIRC you are not a fan of medications, but I have read that outdoor exercise is good for seasonal depression (assuming your current weather in Anchorage is amenable).

Yuck! Maybe indoor exercise? I just got a stationary exercise bike from my oldest daughter (no room for it at her new apartment) and keep swearing I am going to start riding it "tomorrow" to try to get my legs back in shape and my A1C lowered.

Very sorry to hear that. Will be praying for her, for you, and for her medical team.

Assuming game on hold until she is able to leave hospital, unless you are like me and sometimes want something to distract your brain from where you are. Whatever works for you.

If a Lurker wants to harlequin HRH for a couple days, PM me. I've a bullet list of things he wants to know/do.

Me, I'm bordering on basket case. I'm holding together right now, but I am stressed to tension wire.

And I just remembered: Always clear the inhaler FIRST.

I'm having massive asthma issues due to wildfires.

Prayers are appreciated.

Ben died because he had a blood clot that caused an aneurism in the brainstem (or so I've been told by his mom). This is dangerously similar. I'm about to retreat into some TV, and then call it a night.

Aramis, I'm hoping things are getting less stressful for you with your wife home from the hospital, so decided to make a post. If you are not ready to proceed and want the game to stay on hold for awhile longer, I am sure we all understand.
