Same here. He's got the graphic I asked him to make as his Facebook cover photo. He was such an awesome artist. This is really sad news.

Andrew was a good friend, a great player, and will be missed. I was lucky to have had him in one of my games, and i will miss being astounded by his incredible artwork.
We're all the poorer at his passing. Rest in Peace, My Friend.

Sorry to say that his health suddenly deteriorated and he passed away peacefully on 11th August.

Note that Andrew's last post I can see on facebook was on the 11th... playing quizmonster. So it seems to have surprised him, too.
We'll miss him.

Wow, I'm struck dumb over this. I'd gotten to know Andrew a bit over the past couple years and I feel like I've lost a friend- not to mention losing a very valuable member of our community. There are no words.

This is terribly sad news.
My only contact with him has been online and as others have mentioned, it's like loosing a close friend. He did good things for Traveller and the community, where he will be sadly missed. I hope there is someone to pick up the torch and carry on his work with the Traveller Calendar. To not see a calendar in 2013 and beyond will be another sad reminder of what we have lost.
Rest in Peace.

I really have no idea what to say.
He will be sorely missed.

Had no idea. Andrew's FB account had been quiet lately, but so are many other people's in August.
I am shocked by the very sad news. He will be missed indeed.
My condolences to his family and friends.

I'm a bit numb, here ... Andrew has been a part of the online Traveller universe ever since I discovered it in 2005. This is going to take some getting used to - no wonder my Facebook feed has been considerably less entertaining of late!
Goodbye, Andrew, friend.
