Default Delta Force RPG

Does anyone around here own a copy of the "Delta Force" RPG? This was Bill Keith's 1986 RPG published by Task Force Games... and supposedly it uses the CT combat system, with some Keith Bros. designed changes.

Since the "Traveller Advanced Combat System" would have already been in playtesting at this point (and soon to become MegaTraveller), I'm very curious about this alternate development.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I do... I'll see if I can get to it to check.

Thanks a lot. The only copy I've seen since the turn of the millenium was at GenCon two years ago, and some reseller outbid me.

Sigh...

Yeah, I've got it. IIRC, the combat system was definitely Old School (well, Mid School, as it was the 1980s). I do not recall much resemblance to CT (I'd have noticed, I'd think). I'll find it and post a description.

I've got a copy of it on the shelf. Apparently, I also have the Companion and the mission book for Terror at Sea. I'll give you any details you want. Just drop me a PM. I'd consider selling it too, if you want it.

Regards,
Larry

The Delta Force simplified combat factors are really just the same as CT with a few modifiers thrown in the mix. Such as is the target at close or medium range, the PC's skill level with the weapon being used. Does the PC take a firing stance or just snap off a shot. (stance -1)to hit.
