Default Mayday!

Issue 3 of RetroFuture will contain my short story, 'Mayday'. This story will continue where this piece of dialog left off...

‘This is Free Trader Beowulf, calling anyone…
Mayday, Mayday… we are under attack…
main drive is gone…
turret number one not responding…
Mayday… losing cabin pressure fast…
calling anyone… please help…
This is Free Trader Beowulf…
Mayday’

This short story has been approved by Far Future Enterprises. Please look for this issue around September. I hope to continue expand this short story into a full novel.

This is a true pulp magazine! It is printed on newsprint-grade paper, and mailed direct to subscribers without an envelope via media mail.

Wasn't that a trap set by Space Pirates in the Marches?

With the dialog on the cover of Deluxe Traveller, which only contained a map of the Spinward Marches, and Beowulf being a Solomani fable, the Beowulf would be a long, long way from home.

You will have to subscribe to find out! Or wait for me to finish the novel.
