Yeah, I wish I had some of my first efforts to share (a colony ship and a martian airship) they were no better

Ray Dream Designer 3 was the first 3D program I bought for $99 at Computer City back in 1995. I had no clue how to use it. Eventually learned how to model stuff using Amapi Designer 7. Way much easier to produce cool models with.

I'd work in the reflection on the water and some type of "exhaust" to the rear, of just some motion blur along the direction of flght.

Ironically your first render had a reflection.

BTW, how'd you get the light effect around the engines? Post production or rendered?
