Default Hashing on Universal Coordinates

Jeffro has been playing around with deriving pseudo-random number sequences using sector + hex notations here: http://jeffro.wordpress.com/2013/07/...ive-functions/.

I've done some simple hashing, as a seed to a random number generator.

Anyone else played with this concept?
