This one needs a quick reply from anybody with knowledge. How good are the e-books for Meagtraveller at DriveThruRPG.com?
Are they just scans, without any effort at re-typesetting (things like skewed pages, artifacts on the paper, etc.), or are they more like originals (like some of the stuff I have seen here at QLI)?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, but they aren't too bad. There are no original electronic versions of these books so scans are all that can be done. To retypeset the pages would be an incredible amount of work that isn't justified by the ROI.

Thanks. I have a shot at a hard copy of the boxed set in used condition, and wanted to know if I should comparison shop the e-versions.

Hard copies (of the core books) in good condition for a decent price aren't hard to find. I'd go for the hard copy versions rather than the DriveThruRPG ones if they're available.
