Comments? Or are we all working from the same page now?

Works for me, but I don't tend to take driver skill in any grav vehicles. OLDSKOOL me takes wheeled or tracked...

And I agree with those interpretations to a point. Grav tank, going hull down behind a ridge top would definitely be below 10m, but going hull down should be a routine task for grav tank drivers, as should flying in the upper atmosphere. Similarly for Gcarriers...

Of course, that is why I referred to the ref's decision.

I am not familiar with this term, but it sounds insulting.

To re-iterate:

Magnus asked where I got this idea of allocating Grav knowledge.

I explained to Magnus that it came from our discussion a few days ago.

You contradicted me by saying that "To be absolutely clear, I did not state that the implication was that..."

I linked to where it certainly appeared to me that you had so stated.

Problem?

In your campaign, I will play it by however you interpret it.

However, I register my opinion that this treatment is inconsistent w the statements under Grav knowledge for the Driver and Flyer skills, taken with the way other skills/knowledges work (Fighter, for example).

You chose to ignore that I said "that is my guess." Interpreting a guess as an affirmation. It was not, it was a guess. Affirmations of a position and a guess are very different things.

game-genie ing is what Magnus calls Timmi ing.

My definition is: Interpreting a rule in the most advantageous way possible for a player's preferred position without the ref's direct input.

If you are insulted then I apologize. I just didn't expect an experienced player (to RPG's at least) to go there. I was surprised.

Problem? Yes, both of you seem to have missed that it is in my hands, I have ruled and both parties need to stop bickering, please.

Thumbs up Greetings Citizen A99767.

Shiny for you maybe but awful for me, I like high mental social stats compared to the physical, but nope those aren't terrible.

So, next up I think we reached the point wherein College or other pre-Career Education Term(s) need to be considered.

Of course, you could do up the rest of the CharGen and then I can get out my fine toothed calculator and stuff and double check your work.

As I alluded to in FazeBooke, it was to see if I could actually get rolls to show, and then go back in and edit the post without getting a cheat warning.

Oh. More information than even alluded to!

If I wish, my boy can go to college, but not university.

And I would still like to play with the brainy powers. Mwuhaha?

Could probably reroll a set in the char-gen thread... see what amasses.

College, University after, or even things like Trade Schools. And remember you can do Education after Career or between and in some rare cases during Careers (like when the Navy sends you to Med School or something).

Sure, brainy powers are fine, just be careful how and where you use them. You think regular cops are bad, psi police are even harder to deal with. But if you are not messing up and being uncivilized you should hav no problems.

And just to be clear that means knock before entering another mind, never peek with out prermissions and no messing with people's will or emotions without permission. Basically don't brandish, terrorize or commit crimes and you are good to go, do any of the former and it is time to start keeping an eye over your shoulder.
