Default Government Types E and F

It is clear that government types E & F are valid values for high population worlds under the CT rules, and I see that these are given definitions in MT (Religious Autocracy and Totalitarian Oligarchy respectively), but are they defined anywhere in the CT rules? IF so, where? I see where the non-human governments (types G-X) are defined, but not E & F.

Thanks for the assistance.

Cheers,

Baron Ovka

Thanks! I was searching through everything I could find that might have it, and had forgotten that all of the codes were listed in SMC. Searching my CD Rom version didn't turn them up in that book either

Cheers,

Baron Ovka

Government types E and F do not appear in Classic Traveller, which caps out at Government Type D. I do not know about MegaTraveller or The New Era. They do not appear in Traveller 4 either, which also caps out at Government Type D. They do appear in Traveller 5.

actually, while not in core rules, they do exist in the Spinward Marches Campaign sourcebook, p. 21. Not only does it go to F, it goes to R, then skips to U and X. SMC is CT Module 3.

It also includes atmospheres E & F.

MegaTraveller adds very little that wasn't in CT.

CT (with all books and supplements) is to MT
as original edition D&D (with Greyhawk, Eldritch Wizardry, and Blackmoor) is to AD&D.

Yes?

Yes?

AD&D was a big jump up in equipment, class powers, alignment, half this and that, and a whole lot more spells and monsters. I don't get the impression that MT was that much of a leap other then an attempt to upgrade the mechanics.

MT was mostly a consolidation. The biggest upgrade in mechanics came with TNE.

CT to MT was more like the upgrade from AD&D 1e to AD&D 2e.
