(Hampton will take an ACR from the bridge locker and 3 DS magazines to keep handy once we are on the ground. He will carry those, plus his autopistol from this point forward till the ship is back in the air. He is wearing his Reflec under his Cloth armor suit. His Camelback is topped up.)

Depending on whether you are loading from only one end or from both ends at once, will need either 3 or 6 Cargo-trained crewpersons in the Cargo Bay.

For each loading opening in use, need 1 person controlling lift-and-track system, and two making sure containers mate up and latching them together for stability (not that they can do anything to budge a 20-ton (effective weight, not volume) container, but just to give feedback to the operator, then flip latches.

Might also want to keep Cargo Bay in abt half-G, to relieve strain on hoist system (these containers are close to design limits) and still make it easy to get around.

Which direction are you orienting the ship when landing? If 12 o'clock is the top of the map, which way is the nose of the ship pointing?

Doc looks at the bottom of his empty coffee cup for a bit, then heads back down to the galley. There he pulls out a large thermos from the cabinet and fills it up with coffee then packs a few snacks into his pocket.

Muttering to him self while gathering the food, 'Prepare for fire fights, got to load heavy cargo fast, owner is expecting trouble. Sure what could go wrong.'

As he heads down to the cargo bay after the ship lands, he passes by Max, 'We need to talk about some possible internal security steps for incase we are ever boarded.'

Waving his hand toward the opening doors, 'Of course after this latest crisis of move this, load that, and why wasn't this done yesterday SOG is over.'

[Max]
Grinning at Doc's annoyance, although hard pressed to disagree, he shifts his shotgun to a more comfortable position and offers cheerily "At least today is payday."
Max smiles.

To load fastest both front and rear doors are open...so I'll orient the ship however it needs to be in order to accomodate loading that way. Nose is "incoming frieght" tail is outgoing empty loaders so the nose should be towards the stacked up loaders. Or we can have the containers coming in both ends at the same time and start stacking them in the middle working out towards the doors.

So I'll land whichever way supports the most efficient way to load quickest.

Hampton will land nose to the west. We'll do the ro-ro thing and have the loaders come in the nose and leave through the stern. The doors are wide enough for two containers to come in at a time and split off to either side in the bay. I'll keep an eye on the front and Donoma can watch the rear. If thing go south I can assist outside getting out through the port side lock. If things go really south I can use the top turret.

[OOC: Two questions. One - where is the already present cargo stacked/secured? Two - how much floor room do you want to leave? With 200 containers, we could cover the floor with half-height boxes, or we could stack 2-high and have lots of room between them (like a way to drive all the way through).]

I would assume we stack cargo from the rear forward and along the sides. Keep the middle open for shifting containets as much as possible. That would make the most sense.
