Default Terrain ideas for your game

Some terrain ideas for your game. The 'hair ice' is pretty cool.

Keep in mind that the colors of the aurora are due to the nitrogen. Use a different inert gas mix, get different aurora colors!

Interesting link. Not sure if most people understand how wildly different the Earth's environment can be. I just discovered while cruising around the Big Island of Hawaii, that while on the windward side of Hawaii, you have average rainfall of in excess of 280 inches per year, on the leeward side of the volcanoes, you have areas with less than 10 inches of rain per year that qualify as desert. And that is on one not very large island.

The morning air raises up over the higher volcanoes and cools which is why it rains at about 1pm every afternoon at Waikiki.

I know that, Spinward, what I did not realize is how extreme it could get.

Astronomy photo of the day has many of the same sky/star photos.

I found a distorted galaxy, imported the picture into CC3 and drew an island of that shape.
