Default Car Wars

Thinking how much of the post appocalyptic fiction was written in the 1970s, one overlooked source for a possible source would be the movies that inspired Car Wars as a possible Twilight future. Save, the machines would be running on alcohol products. I can see it now the Hillbillies square off the Greasers from NYC.

Or maybe, I have too much GenCon Indy on my mind...
