Default Thanksgiving Day Game

I am doing a T-4 thanksgiving day one off adventure called Children of loss. Basically the players have been hired to escort a group of orphans to a colony in frontier subsector, only problem is the kids are survivors of a pirate raid on a Imperial liner and are being hunted by thugs hired by the pirates to keep them from testifying at trial. It's a long journey can the far trader crew keep the children alive or better yet can the keep their sanity with a bunch of kids the oldest being a spoiled 10 year old. think I might give a couple of kids psionics just to spice things up a bit.

What was supposed to be a one time game is now a campaign our story so far:
The party was hired by the Ministry of Justice to escort a group of ten kids who survived a pirate attack as the they preparing to leave the High port of Uri in the Vland sector they were set upon by a group of thugs. Limited by the rules of the High Port they had few weapons luckily they managed to escape only to encounter a corsair but managed to escape unharmed after a jump-2 journey they have made contact with the " Devil Princess" ( guess where I lifted that one from) and her private Space Battleship and received instructions as they progress spinward they stop for supplies and run into trouble with the local immigration officials ( unknown to the party they have been bribed by the pirates allies to hold them, at this point one of the children uses her psionic powers to aid the party. the party has not figured out why they were let go so after some time buying supplies they are back under way.
Stay tuned to this channel more to come.
