Now that you mention it, it was a wedge shaped craft

Not quite the usual type S profile though.

On the face of it, but as mentioned in the article it was an unarmoured and slow drone, along with other factors like the long dwell time (several seconds) to kill it, the fact it wasn't evading, the fact we don't know how long it took to get the laser on target since the video starts with the laser on target, etc. etc.

Nah, not really impressed.

I loved this comment:

Remember it is the military industrial complex who faked the photos. It was simply reported by CBS which is an wholly owned subsidiary of the war profiteers.

There's comments? I missed that, yeah, that's a good one ShapeShifter If the gov wanted to fake this I'd have hoped for something a little more spectacular. Why bother faking it this way would be my reply to any conspiracy nuts spouting such.

Oh, and by the way...

Re my comment up thread about an article with the video, the link provided here is different from the one I'd seen earlier where I'd read what I was referring to. I only realized this when ShapeShifter mentioned comments. Here's another link with an article by the BBC with commentary by Peter Felstead, editor of Jane's Defence Weekly:

It's shape reminded me of the Zho Type S from FASA, a wedge/manta look,

So US Navy = United Services Navy (Wet) Regina Defence Forces. In Great Zho Raid.

Interesting the BBC says reflec worked, I've often heard it can't in laser articles; so score one for TRAV.
