On the face of it, but as mentioned in the article it was an unarmoured and slow drone, along with other factors like the long dwell time (several seconds) to kill it, the fact it wasn't evading, the fact we don't know how long it took to get the laser on target since the video starts with the laser on target, etc. etc.

Nah, not really impressed.

If the gov wanted to fake this I'd have hoped for something a little more spectacular. Why bother faking it this way would be my reply to any conspiracy nuts spouting such.

It's shape reminded me of the Zho Type S from FASA, a wedge/manta look,

So US Navy = United Services Navy (Wet) Regina Defence Forces. In Great Zho Raid.

Interesting the BBC says reflec worked, I've often heard it can't in laser articles; so score one for TRAV.
