I prefer a completely unexplored setting. Say, just off the top of my head ... Spica!

It's strange nobody ever published a sourcebook for it...

Sorry for getting off track here, but can I ask what an "Adminator" (in your title) is? Is it a cross between an Admin and a Moderator?

Regards

I thought is was the designation for the upgraded T1000 series

(As in a play on half Administrator half Terminator )

One reason why so many RPG 'companies' go under is that they simply produce a game that they like and put it out... and then nothing happens.

There needs to be a supporting product line and a business plan to go with it.

There needs to be support for the basic rules if they're to be anything more than a curiousity.

These two things seem to go hand in hand, may I ask what is too much material? I wouldn't think a single book would be necessary. Looking at various games, such as Rifts, they had a huge amount of source material, the more source material the better IMO, because that is more product. This is not the first time I have heard this said, I do not understand it.

As per setting, I would start Spinward Marches and then Expand out in the direction of the other eight surrounding sectors as to give the players a larger playing area.

A reasonable sized book is, to me, not more than 300 pages, and a large one 400. T5 already is almost twice that, and missing large chunks of explanatory text and a few chapters. As in, once the material is in releasable (as opposed to late alpha draft) state, expect the page numbers to at least increase by 25% to 50%.

(While I like my HSR5.0 book, at 500pp, it's a nightmare to work with... too big, too clumsy, and too small a print. And shipping/carrying weight is too much.)

So as a single volume it would be a Large Black Book?
