I also leave it up to the user to ensure that you're not overloading a compartment with too many consoles.
Sorry, I had apparently already forgotten that.

It's still a problem that we can assign any number of Consoles to a Tardis-like Compartment. Or leave a lot of room empty because we forgot to shrink the Compartment. Or forgot to resize the Compartment after resizing some Consoles to adjust the Ergonomics score...

Can't we have two automatic Compartments: Bridge and Cargo Hold that resize automatically? And just have unassigned Consoles take space? Otherwise we have to make and manually resize a lot of Compartments for all Consoles not on the bridge.

I understand why your head hurts, mine does too. Not only do you have to combine the 5.09 rules with the 5.09 errata, you also have to read both errata threads to find more discussion and suggestions for things to be added to the 5.09 errata. I've personally added a ton of posts to these threads as I waded through the rules.

In the case above. EP is affected by Stage. Potential is affected by Stage and is a function of EP. So I made the judgement call to apply the 90% factor effectively twice in calculating Potential. Hence, 81% instead of 90%. No one has contradicted my interpretation of this yet.

I really do not see how you can come to that conclusion...

Stages change drive potential, not EP.

Usable Drive Potential. The Drive Potential Table provides performance for Standard (Base TL) drives and power systems. TL Stages alter Design Drive Potential to Usable Drive Potential.

Efficiency
The Efficiency column of the Drive Tech Level Efficiency table 10X applies to Drive Potential. Because Potential is an integer, round any efficiency results down.

Drives (and Power Systems) produce 100 percent Potential (table Y) at base TL.
Other TLs may produce other Potentials based on Drive Efficiency.

The DRIVE TECH LEVEL STAGE EFFECTS examples on p326 and p350 shows that efficiency is only applied once.

I can't see that the errata changes any of this.

I can hardly imagine, I have just looked up a few details for a few days...

You're probably correct. I'm sure I had a specific reason for doing it this way but who knows where that is now. I'll consider changing this in an update.

Configuration "Airframe" can't use Structure "Plate", p293.

Yes, but this is contradicted by the Hull Structure table on page 290. Mentioned in the errata thread but not resolved either way. If I leave it as is, then you can decide whether to allow it or not until there's a final resolution.

You are right, p290 appears to be the main resource, so that is probably correct...

Cost of Compartments seems to not be included in the total price.

Sensor: Analyzer / Sniffer: Cost should be MCr 0.1, not MCr 0?

Sensor: Jammer: Cost should be MCr 1, not MCr 0.1?

Sensor: Sound: TL-7, not TL-10?

Personnel: Access: A ship should have a free air lock for every full 100 Dt, so a 320 Dt hull should have 3 free personnel air locks, not 4? Like hardpoints?
