Default Farscape

I never gave this show much of a chance. The Muppets turned me off. Just bouncing around on Netflix today, though, I decided to give the first episode at try.

Ya know, it's not bad. It won't blow you away, but I quite enjoyed the first episode. Yes, there are Muppets, but they're written quite well.

I find Farscape, at least from the first episode, to be a fun romp through a Space Opera.

Complex characters and situations. The writing is pretty good. Plus, a mix of Space Opera archetypes: A Priest, a Warrior from a warrior race, an evil Empire, and a human from Earth, lost in a universe he never dreamed existed. All this on a living starship.

I think I'll stick with it and see where it goes.
