Please go and start your own thread on chameleon settings for combat armour.

In the original post of the thread, you were asked to refrain from such. I could not have been more explicit.

Thread drift is normal. You got your answer, and it lead to further discussion. Threads are NOT private property.

The back cover hints at a snazzy metallic orange helmet, but I have no idea if that is "dress" uniform, or just "dress" for psi troopers (you wouldn't want such give-aways on a battlefield), or just artistic whim:

If you're really keen, it's by David Dietrich, so you could email him (his son has a site selling merchandise), or ask Loren over at the GT forums.

Personally I like grey with black highlights.

But ...

From the CT AM4 front cover, looking at the style of art (and other objects within) I think what's shown is supposed to be metallic. i.e. It's reflec!

It looks somewhat similar to the Zhodani off Broadsword, but their armor is more black, though it looks like combat armor to me (the AM4 cover).

Maybe it's a pilot's helmet; thanks for these pictures, I didn't know if I could print them from the CT CD and not get in trouble.

I think that it is covered by the fair use provision.

Maybe, I'm sure someone in the know could weigh in on the subject. Though if someone is hosting the cover without issue, it's probably ok.

Copyright info is available on my Library Data site. Go to the Intro page and click the "Copyright" link at the bottom.

http://members.tip.net.au/~davidjw/libdata/index.htm

There's also a set of discussions with Marc available at my website (link in .sig). Go to "Tavonni Repair Bays", then "Licencing and other pastimes".

Essentially most internal art is owned by Marc, but not necessarily all the covers. I asked for & received permissions for material not covered under the Fair Use policy.

BTW, you can print out stuff for your use. Copyright just says don't print an entire copy for your mates - tell them to support Trav & buy their own!

Fwiw, the cover art for the Martian Metals Zhodani Strike Force box shows them in red.
