Lightbulb p/prospecting and planetary resources

some have wondered what good is the world resource number. if u look in the skill list under profession and then p/prospecting, u find that the world resource number is used as a modifier for a person with the p/prospecting skill to find something, like salvage, minerals, fossils, artifacts, and other fun stuff that a prospector can make a little credit off of. mostly this would be in a Belter class centered campaign. i do think that the list needs to be tweeked for resources found on asteroids, as not all resources listed will be found there, but still pretty good for world exploitation.
campaing ideas: finding the claim in the first place, claim jumping, getting resources to some place to convert to credits, finding a corporation willing to buy the claim if it's big enough, forgotten higher tech military base or research center, newly discovered extinct lifeform-either animal or intelligent...
i hope this gives new life to the under used world resource number.
