Default Fading Suns: Play Using CT?

It just dawned on me yesterday that CT might make a great rules system to use with the Fading Suns mileu. Has anyone tried that, and willing to share their conversion notes?

I would assume it's been done since the Fading Suns deckplans say "Made for use with Traveller".

I want to see CT stats for a Mist Sword.

The FS system was designed to use an attribute rating out of 10 and a skill rating out of 10 rolled on a D20 - you had to roll under the combined total of attribute & skill but the higher you rolled the more successes were obtained. A lot like Pendragon, but with two elements contributing to the number needed to be rolled under.

You could do simply do a relative conversion from FS to Traveller and use whichever edition's task system instead of the FS mechanic.
