Default "The Expanse" televised series?

So, I have been thinking of watching this series, "The Expanse"...

I have read one of the books it is based upon some time ago and do not recall it well...

**** Would different folks be willing to share whether they recommend or do not recommend the series and why? Could someone also share a basic synopsis of the show and series? ***

Thank you!

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
