Cool *considers*

Dear Admiral Viscount ?:

Would need to know your Name first, I mean that's some Title you're swinging there, or at least Social Standing...

And former Admiral? I mean I do have a fine, *grins, something almost but not quite pushing the line to leer* Captain already, however, I do have need of Advisors, and Smallcraft Pilots, etc.

Also, where would we send the prospectus for Blue Smoke Spacers: We get You There in a Style like No Other!

And your Resume is quite impressive in it's own right.

Please forward all correspondence to my Suite at the Feri-Down Ritz.

I'm not sure how to handle a character with a high social characteristic. SEE THIS POST Maybe you could lend some assistance.

Depending on your adventures maybe something could be worked out. Maybe while getting acquainted with the Admiral at her retirement dinner you offer her passage and she gets caught up in whatever adventures occure.

You are approached by the manager of the Feri-Down Ritz. "I was instructed to give you this personally Sir." and he hands you a sealed documentThe manager waits for your instructions or to be dismissed.

Open the document:
Spoiler:

EDIT:
Because of travel times and such, this is actually a diner for all the high ranking Military officers who served in the subsector and retired this last year. It's a good chance for rubbing elbows with the nobles, governors, and other powerful people. They usually plan several weeks of activities and get together to conduct business. Many Nobles also plan for weddings, inaugurations and other ceremonies to occur during this time. (many bastard noble children are born 9 months after this event)

I usually roll a character every night to get more familiar with MGT and It helps me find things I may not have noticed at first, like this armor question, which is not for the Admiral.

The Admiral does duel professionally and a little research will indicate she has won several tournaments. She certainly would not back down from a challenge but would suggest they settle things in a professional tournament.

Although currently being processed for retirement, the Admiral will retain her rank.

Mckee plans to do a little traveling before contemplating her long term goals for the future. She is keeping an ear to the ground for any world leaders looking to start up a local Navy. She has already been given authorization by the Imperium to do so, with the understanding that her Unit would be subject to direct Imperial control in emergencies.

The Admiral most likely would not be a long term member of your crew. She would, of course, readily assist you with any Imperial duties you may be tasked with - possibly even being assigned to do so by higher powers. She also would enjoy the hospitality of your fine vessel and assisting in any adventurous good cause while considering what her future has in store.

Cool >Vreep< Countess Admrial.

*The Countess Admiral McKee finds this on her tablet, when she checks 'inbox'*

Dear Countess McKee,

It would be an Honor, both as a Member of the Peerage, but also as a fellow Sailor ETSed Myself.

Please Accept My Sincere Apologies for using E-contact, but pen and paper are hard to come by right now as I am on a Mission and a Cutter.

Yours Most Humbly,
Magnus von Thornwood

I was going through my character generation notes and noticed the following.

I took two skill rolls from my events instead of 2 benefit rolls.

So I subtracted these skill rolls:
Melee and Pilot

The 2 new mustering rolls:
I rolled a second Ships boat which gives a Pilot (small craft) skill.
I rolled weapon again and took it as another Blade skill.

Wow! What are the odds of regaining the exact same skills I lost?

I added homeworld and background skills to the original post.

Question, should I take one additional skill for initially becoming an officer (MGT)? I rolled another level of Leadership.

Also, I noticed I was short one benefit roll.

I rolled another +2 Soc - That would make it a 16/G Social..... What do you think? Already started playing her as a countess. Re-roll? Ignore the benefit I missed? Consider it "excess Social Standing" (MGT page #35) and take ship shares?

I haven't updated / edited the initial post. Waiting to see what you think...
