Default Stutterwarp Conversion

I searched Google and here and all I found was the freelance article on using stuuterwarp as a manuever drive (altho it does have some help).

Has anyone ever converted the 2300 Stutter warp to CT/MT/TNE Stats????

There are actually two articles on Stutterwarp at Freelance Traveller; you apparently found Mike Kanssen's article. The other is by Todd Glenn, and does use it as an interstellar drive. I'm not sure that it's a conversion per se, but may instead be an adaptation of the idea.

Mike Kanssen's article: http://www.freelancetraveller.com/fe...utterwarp.html

Tod Glenn's article: http://www.freelancetraveller.com/fe...utterwarp.html

eta: note that the URLs both get shortened in the middle, which hides the difference between them. Mike's is features rules tech stutterwarp.html, while Tod's is features rules tech tgstutterwarp.html.

The Stutterwarp is presented as an optional drive technology in FF&S1. What more need be said?

I have a system that I came up with using the articles on FreeTrav's page and beating the idea into submission for use by an alien race in my campaign. The rules work, more or less, and the players have even converted an exploration ship to stutterwarp and a fusion power plant for long range deep exploration where gas giants may be far and few between. Send me your email in a PM and I'll attach the rules and send them off to you if you're interested.

Why don't you just send them to Freelance Traveller instead?

Wel there you go. Evilbay or better yet the TNE-CD. If you go for the former, make sure you get Mk 1, Mod 1

Gray Lensmen: Sabredog and I are trading emails on making the rules smoother for use in CT.
If you'd like, PM me your email, and I'll send over the notes I have so far...
(not that they're close to being done yet...)
