normal/natural sounding dialogue
just had a thought as i was answering another thread, if you still stumble over making dialogue sound natural why not roleplay your plot as a game and listen for any player dialogue that developes!

That's a really good idea! We'll probably do some form of that during the revision process in order to flow the dialog a little better.

I just watched the trailer, and to be honest, I was expecting to see something horrible. When I see the term "fan-made," I get very apprehensive and usually whatever it was leaves a bad taste in my mouth, so I avoid such things. Despite this, I watched it anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. Yeah, it might not have the greatest special-effects, but I don't particularly care. You're doing the best you can with what you have, and what you have looks fine to me. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I feel the same way about fan-made work like this. I definitely did not want to produce something cheesy that didn't adequately honor the source material. Traveller deserves better than that.
That's one of the reasons It's been taking me so long to get work done on the actual content- I want to make sure that it doesn't look like some amateurish thing some kids are recording with their dad's handycam :/

Congratulations on this.
Outstanding for me, was the landing sequence, the blend of CG and video in many places throughout this story.
What didn't work for me, was only two minor things, both extremely fixable.
When the lead character exits the demolition room, in the last splitseconds we can see him slow down and walk left, this can be shaved or faded I think.
The G-MAN type character in front of the lovely screens in the office. I think crop is too wide, I would close in this, crop tighter, make him far more scary, crop out the hand in pocket, dim the lighting and have him lit by the lovely screens behind more.
I feel if those few seconds were slightly edited, the entire movie levels up somewhat. Nevertheless it's the most impressive Traveller work using actors that I've ever seen I think! Congratulations!
I'm new to the forums, but have lectured in films, worked on films, my uncle made snow scenes in many Bond movies and directed most of OHMSS, so I love film and would love to help out on this, but I'm not sure how I could be useful, primarily I am a photographer/art director and I'm in the UK.

Glad you liked it (the 3d CGI bits were mine )!
Real Life keeps getting in the way, but hopefully there will be more eventually.

Know the feeling. Heck, RL even gets in the way for RL sometimes.

Hi, just stumbled on this now unfortunately, but I was wondering, given that it's been over a year since there's been a message from Baeron, is this still a thing?
