Hackers "nuke" Czech beauty spot
 

A Czech webcam was streaming lovely pastoral pictures of a local beauty spot, until hackers gained access and inserted pictures of the area being "nuked". Unfortunately, the video was also then broadcast live on television.

Classic. Absolutely classic. Can't help but feel for those who were watching the news at the time though.

I've been waiting in anticipation of something like this for a while. I surf live webcams now and then and the security on most is a joke. If I'd done it I would have gone with something silly, like a giant strolling by or maybe a flying saucer buzzing the town. Still gets the point across but with less chance of prosecution for terrorism and angry mobs of citizens. I'll give them this though, they did a pretty good job of it.

I suspect a conspiracy by dry cleaners and underwear salesmen...

Why is it every time that I read this post's title, I read Hackers nude beauty spot, is it that I am thinking of my one time girlfriend in Prague who was a computer programmer. <sigh>
