So do we, Jack... But we're more west than most westerners... We are the West of the West, least since Lochach went rogue... ;)

Selviergard, Oertha, West.

I wonder, have you been to Oertha, Jack?

I wish. Certainly Oertha has been to me....I knew Kielson, and his wife is a college friend - and lots o' others. Nice folks to a one -although maybe y'all are careful not to allow visas to your jerks, I suppose ;)

You are aware Sir Kylson passed on, yes?

Died on the field.

Anne is doing well by all accounts. So is the boy.

I humbly beg the pardon of thee, gentle Sirs, but this resident of the wilds of Artemesia (Shire of Draca Mor) knows not of these nobles and gentles of whom thou speakest.

His Excellency, Vicount Master Sir Kylson Skyfire, KSCA, OP, OL. Multiple time Prince of Oertha, and prior to that, defender of the Northern Marches. Tons of Alphabet soup (half the Western options, and 2/3 of the Oerthan ones.) Died on the field at an event, from an aneurism. About 3 years ago. (http://heralds.westkingdom.org/Awards/OP_005.HTM)

His widow is Vicountess Mistress Anne of Bradford, OP, OL, tons of additional alphabet soup. (http://heralds.westkingdom.org/Awards/OP_004.HTM, last entry)

They have a son, as well.

Me, I am known within the SCA as Herr Wilhelm von Düsseldorf. I was Rapier Champion to Her Highness Esperanza III, as well as personal voice herald.

Ah yes... a sad loss to be sure.

Howe'er, such a gallant is surely in Valhalla, having fallen in battle as befits a true warrior.

This humble soul is no such exhalted person, being M'Lord Creag Domhnullach, lately of the Shire of Gryphon's Lair (which I served as Assistant Chronicler, then Chronicler, of The Gryphon's Roar during the struggle to free ourselves from the Barony of Loch Salann and take our rightful place in the Known World (July, AS 26 through May, AS 28).

While I reside in the provinces controlled by the Shire of Draca Mor, I have not been fellowing with those worthies, due to the curses of Mundane responsibilities.

I myself am twice a partial term Peregrine Pursuivant (Eskalya's Baronial herald) and once full term Selveirgardian Baronial Herald.

I live within the bounds of the Canton Inbhir na da Abhen, which was betrayed in merging, and became part of selviergard. Alas, I'm one of 3 in the bounds, my wife being the second, and a Former Stellanordica holds her membership via an in-Anchorage PO Box to NOT be a subject of Selviergard (and did the same before to not be of the canton).

Kylson was a gentle soul, and tho' he did love the ladies a tad too much, but Anne tamed him eventually. While he was not my knight, he was one of the two knights I've studied heavy under. (Sir Donnan Trueheart being the other.)

Kylson is missed. Jack knowing Anne from college, I figured he should know, if he didn't already.
