d66 Compendium Preview Game
For our second week of previews of the d66 Compendium, we created a facebook game. Being both a preview and showing you how you can use it, the game focuses the Ship's chapter and how you can answer your player's neverending questions with little trouble.

Play the d66 Compendium facebook game entitled Tell Us About That Ship today. Remember to share it with your friends.

I'm not on Facebook yet, either. I plan to get an account, right now I have a jar I'm throwing spare bits of time into so that I'll have some in reserve once I do sign up. When my wife joined she signed up then had to avoid the email account she associated with Facebook for a couple of weeks. It'll be as bad for me, I expect.

OTOH, I'm looking forward to the d66 Compendium.

Facebook is only the time sucker people say it is, only if you let it be that way. Myself, I don't play farmville or any of those other games that people play when they live on the site. 90% of the time, I go on, type a quick status update, check to see if anyone made a whitty comment and I'm off. You can also set your email settings so you don't receive any emails from Facebook. That's how I have mine set.

You can pre-order the d66 Compendium now at your local game store or at

The FB time problem for my wife and daughter has been all the people we know that are on there already that they feel obliged to acknowledge now that they're there. They haven't touched the games or done a lot of page personalization yet.

I'm expecting something similar for myself. I'm planning on using it as a communication channel, but not until I've finished another pair of projects (my 8085 computer and getting my website up to date.)
