Atlas of the Third Imperium, Second Survey

I'm working on getting information on together with hopes of getting a new book out; even if only for personal use and possibly some others.

Is there any interest, one way or another?

I've a number of sector books I enjoy reading but not used in play much. I usually end up using the TravellerMap, wiki and my imagination (said with a SpongeBob voice - if you have not seen that episode it is really an homage to playing and using your imagination). And back from that odd digression, not sure what another book would bring that is not either already out there or readily available info for anyone with internet. This said from someone who has at least 2 Spinward Marches maps...

But - if you are doing this for yourself, great! Go for it. You may notice I do all sorts of things like that for my own amusement.

(sort of like the 40th Anniversary KS for the TTA. I actually already have the book in pretty good shape, but it comes with Cepheus stats for the ships...we'll just have to see where my finances are towards the end of that campaign! I can see some of those ships showing up as I am starting a new game soon. I think)

I have the code to auto-generate such a book in PDF form from my site. (Anyone can run the code, but it's a bit of a chore). Cover art by Ian Stead and everything.

It's on my list to work with Marc and others to make it available as an FFE digital product, but I've had other distractions lately.

I'm working to get the Information together and create a new book that would show the sectors with named cluster, mains, " what have you" , as well as other things of interest...

Traveller Map is just such an incredible resource that I think any physical atlas would have to offer other information to really be worth the effort of creation or the expense of purchase. For instance, an Atlas of the Wars of the Imperium, where one book undertook a comprehensive survey of the various conflicts of the 3I (or maybe even the OTU), with commentary, that'd be something I'd jump at.

Dang - forgot about that! Now I've a booklet for my homebrew.

If I've not thanked you enough - thanks again. TravellerMap is one of the best resources out there for this game.

Always interested in something to update my battered and worn Atlas of the Imperium, preferably with full WPP (is that the right acronym? I'm a bit out of practice) alongside, not just a world/asteroid symbol and starport letter. I find it easiest to work with a printed sector / subsector map for my gaming rather than moving between windows on a laptop. Is that very 1980s of me?

I will most likely not include planetary data (UWP), mostly because it would overpower the maps and text with minimal data. We are talking about 30+ sectors...

Not saying that it would be impossible, just impossibly difficult to present without lot and lot of data.

Yeah, mine runs 212 pages covering 63 sectors. I'll post a link to a preview when I'm back to civilization.
