What kind of iOS app would you like to see?

Having just finished my first Traveller iOS app, I'm looking at what to do next. Sooooo many choices!

The poll has very broad categories (too many variations to list everything) so please add replies that define the version of Traveller and specific details you'd like to see.

Would like to see a character app and a mini-game that goes along with it. That would allow potential new players to see what Traveller is all about.

Aside from that, a combat app that would help during a gaming session would be nice.

Any particular version of Traveller?

Ship design and makers for T5. I'm still trying to figure the rules out! :(

My preference would be T5. As I said, the goal would be to bring in new Travellers. (You've played the app, now play the full RPG with your friends. :smirk: )

There already is one of those in the App Store, tho how they can charge money for it with the Fair Use license I have no idea.

A world building app would be sweet. But I would prefer an updated and more realistic one, as opposed to T5's fixed orbits, Bigworlds, Radworlds, etc.

Note that that would stretch the definition of "Traveller System generation." Sounds like a great Cephus Engine mod...

A system generation app would be sweet - I look at the T5 tables and material on this and really ponder the possibilities. Right before my eyes glaze over.

One thing I really love about Mark Munson's online character app is because of how it steps through the process, you can't help but learn a bit about the way the various char-gen tables are worked. I'd love seeing this incorporated into a app somehow. Perhaps a quick mode where i just get the thingy I need at the single touch o a button, and a tutorial mode where I click through and see the steps so I can learn the process as well.

An added bonus would be to be able to just tweak values at the different steps. Let's say I'm a ref building with a particular thing in mind - a veteran Scout NPC for example - and I need her to succeed through 5 terms of Scout. I'd love the ability to set this, override random, or whatever. Similarly with apps focused on other things.

As an aside to OP and everyone else who's feeling the app bug biting... in daily life I'm a principal-level user experience architect and I'd seriously enjoy collaborating on something Traveller-related.
