Are there any official rules for making ships in High Guard with TL 16 or above?

I know people I used to hang with in High School (Many man moons ago) had rules for High-TL ships, but I don't know if they were home-brewed or actually from something.

If I had to guess, I'd suspect that the rules for High Guard were home brewed from perhaps Megatraveller. Just a guess though...

Probably what Hal said, MT copied over to HG. The only thing in HG above TL15 are black globes, and those are (supposed to be) just for reference. The TL15 versions are supposedly cutting edge reverse engineered designs or lucky finds of ancient versions that can be used in TL15 ships.

That said, pulling the higher TL stuff from MT is pretty easy, it's a straight over copy after converting kl to dtons and Mw to Ep iirc.

Not to toot a different horn, but the ct-starships yahoo group has some files on the MT to HG conversion...
