Traveller Discord server

Based on discussion in another thread about the activity of this website and the Traveller community, I have decided to create a Discord server for discussing Traveller. I hope that this will bring in new users to this community and this forum, especially young people, who we currently seem to have a shortage of.

The server can be found here: https://discord.gg/Pwm3ScC

Suggestions for channels or other ideas are welcome! :)

There is already a Discord page called Citizens of the Imperium.
I'm not criticizing, but with 4 or more G+ groups (until next year sometime), 2 or more Discord pages, 2 or more MeWe pages, a Reddit page, Mongoose and other forums, and who know what else, are we in danger of fracturing the community?

Huh. I had no idea there was already a Discord page. How does one get an invite to that server?

I would say that is a reasonable possibility.

Traveller's online community has been fractured since 1992.

Yes, I eventually found out about this and noted it in the other thread. It's not exactly well-advertised, though, since I never heard from it before I created my server and nobody mentioned a server already existed when I discussed creating a Discord server for Traveller. In the other thread, I already asked whether other people think I should just post a link to the other server on my server and then delete my server, or keep it.

For reference, here's a link to the other Traveller server: https://discordapp.com/invite/RfpP6Ru

You know, not everything has to be negative all the time. It's allowed for things to be positive!

What are these supposed to mean, if I may ask?

It's more like duplicating communities, which people then hop between.
