Yes, I borrow from places like the psionic rules for some of the technologies - eg teleportation being displacers - for others I just adapt the rules as written - eg ship construction; small ships can be designed using LBB2 while the GSVs and the like I cobble together from HG2; jump drive becomes hyperdrive, forget about fuel, maneuver drive becomes the fusion engines that sort of thing.
Augmentation is easily done by just allocating bonuses to characterisitcs and explaining them as bio-enhancement or mechanical enhancement.
Drones are just generated as per characters but with defined physical characteristics based on model, Int determined by AI complexity and Edu a result of experience and program download.
I don't know how much I can post about it on open forums due to copyright and the like.
