Right back at you - great to hear from you as well. As it turned out, the students were really resilient, and we think the planning we put in for lockdown and remote learning helped. A big downer was that the Flemington flats faced 'hard lockdown' at a moments notice - police on every floor was very confronting. We got through that. Seeing them back in the class room was a total joy. And we staggered through to the end of the year.

The main gaming I've been getting in is Warhammer 40k with my son, and D&D with my daughter who, at 17, is flourishing as a DM; although all the other players are her friends and are her age; we do it via Discord which works really well. I've done something right with both of them! Sadly no Traveller, although I've been working on my world building app (about to post the update in the Lounge) which I reckon counts. I'd love a gaming group that's adult to explore themes more in depth.

Hey! Great to hear from you. Merry Christmas to you and all your family, I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing day yesterday!!

I missed out on the whole work-from-home thing, been working long hours, even longer than over Nov-Dec than I had before. I haven't had a chance to get a lot of gaming in. Unfinished RPG projects all over the place, but I've painted some wargaming figures and terrain so not all is lost.

I have done a little gaming via skype, mostly 3:16 seeing it's so simple and that's what the rest of the team wanted to play. The group I was hosting here are still not likely to meet for a while.

My hat's off to you for all the work you must have had to do, the changes you had to manage and facilitate, and the mentoring you must have had to provide to your students, through the whole Stage 4 period. Amazing job there, you're a wonder!!

Did you manage to get up to much gaming? Do you have a group you play with at the moment?

Hey there again - many apologies for not replying sooner. We got back to work out of lockdown about four weeks ago - almost six months. Our students are just extraordinary - so resilient. So we're finally through hard lockdown and teaching remotely. How are things at your end? Get much gaming in?

I'm hearin' ya. I didn't get any prep for the game done while I was away, just worked and slept, but have some time over the next couple of days, so it should be sorted by Saturday. Have you had any luck organising another session for your campaign?

LOL. Free period in between classes, the Year 8's had driven me mad and I needed a mental break.

I've just come back from a week working interstate and have a few days off. What's your excuse for posting today?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've got our next session planned for two weekends from now, but I fly out tomorrow for a week of work (job #2) interstate. I hope to have the time and energy in that time to do some more prep for the game. I received in the mail of Fri the T5 rules on disc, so YAY, I can definitely do more work on it now that I originally thought I could.

I was going to try the Trav Adv, but the characters the team rolled up had them head in another direction - I'm running a modified Tripwire for them, though the journey just to get there is becoming interesting.

It finished up really well. First week back for Term 4 has been very positive (well, Year 8's on a Friday at the end of the day are a bit rowdy). I'm currently running The Traveller Adventure, although it has been on hiatus (see my blog - last entry is the last time we played!). I've e-mailed a plot synopsis to my players and we're going to get a date. Time is a major problem for me - got renovations going on at the same time as heading into exams for my two Year 11 classes - lots of assessing, planning and marking, and we're trying to start planning for next year. But I've got to make time!

Hey! How'd your week finish up? Got a game planned anytime soon?
