Your MTU sounds cool, it's really rare in my experience to see that sort of government type technocratic/academic. In games I've played and run it hasnt really come up, but it is such a cool type. Really cool stuff to explore. I also like lower TL TUs, mine are usually capped at TL12.

When I'm playing as a PC the primary draw for me is to experience someone else's world, so I'd be happy to hang out in yours, especially if thats conducive to fleshing it out further. Otherwise I am down to run one of mine, I've been working on a pretty basic CT/small ship universe lately which has a number of competing Duchies which basically undermined imperial power over the centuries until the "empire" exists in name only (Holy Roman Empire style, but without even a regent).
