received a very similar in-coti email from him asking for permission to use my ship deckplans on wiki.traveller, also asking if I had a facebook account. seen MS on the board for quite some time and just assumed he's involved with wiki.traveller so I simply wrote back "sure". haven't heard a word since.

standard net security practice is to respond to nothing unless you are confident of the identity and relevance of the one trying to contact you. if not sure, then don't answer. never give out email/facebook/address/phone for any reason unless you're positive of the identity and relevance of the one trying to contact you.

the board is slowly drifting down. whipsnade was banned for a year, I almost walked away because of that. same old arguments, very little new development, almost nobody wants to play. probably be gone in a few more years. if you want anything off of it now's the time to get it.

The reason I'm checking in with you is because I got an email message from Maksim-Smelchak's (Jon?) asking me for my email address and if I were on Facebook. Figured I'd check with you to find out who he is, what your take is on him etc. Hate to be rude if I can avoid it kind of thing, ya know?

Hello Flykiller. As you might be able to see on Bill's message area, I have decided to remove myself from this forum entirely. Armis' "warning" came at me out of the blue, and was offensive to me.
