So, we have finally begun SPaceBadger's Reaver's Deep Play-by-Post game. We're three weeks on, and ... we're figuring out all the challenging bits of a PbP.

There's the posting in fits and spurts - no one ever around when *you're* bored and want to interact... then everyone else is online and participating when *you're* stuck in traffic. Heh - would that be the PbP Corollary to Murphy's law?

Then there's the fun of trying to keep the In Character thread from getting too much OOC chatter in it, and the difficulty of having too many tabs open and accidentally posting IC stuff in an OOC thread.

Of course, SpaceBadger is wringing out all the tools on CotI - from his blog (for which he made a freakin' table of contents!) to the wiki, to multiple OOC threads. He's even got a website where he can link some documents and such.

Anyway - some interesting interactions so far. Getting to know the players and their characters. And, of course, finishing up a novella on my character's background. And, naturally, having fun. (And this complements the Skype-top Traveller I'm running with my regular group. )
