A Brief Update of 'Things'

Yeah yeah I know, it's been ages since I posted last...honestly I hate doing these things, but I'm working on it.
SciFi20
On the SciFi20 front, I've just posted a new version (4.3) in the Moot for those interested. This is a complete rewrite based on the feedback I got on the initial draft as well as some decisions made while I was working on it.
The new draft has some pretty complete rules on character creation. I've taken T20 and stripped it down as far as I could and rebuilt it. The new system is point buy, but there will be rules for random generation for the hardcore and for building NPCs. Honestly I could post the rules in one page for the basic stuff. Everything else is optional like Training Packages, Career Packages, Background, Associates, etc. You can use what you want, leave out what you want and still have balanced characters.
BAB is gone and combat skills replace it.
Classes have been completely revamped and streamlined. You can use them or not or both.
Feats have been totally reworked as a Feat point pool. You can do pretty much everything you could with the original feats, you just don't have to try and remember what each of them does. You can also spend Feat points permanently to buy a permanent 'Talent' (which is basically an old style feat) if you really want to as well. There are some advantages to doing so. You can even bring specific 'class features' back if you want.
The idea was to streamline the system down as much as possible and make it less cluttered and faster. The options give you all of the features of the old system if that's what you want, but now you can choose exactly what you do want to use or not.
Traveller20 Stuff
I know lots are clamoring for new T20 stuff particularly the new Ships TA and now that I have the redraft of SciFi20 up I'm on that next as Travis, the artist working on it, would like to kill me because he wants to get it done and I haven't had a chance to get back on track with it. Sorry Travis. You are next on my list
I'm also looking for any new ideas for TAs and EPICs. If you got an idea you'd like to get published or an adventure, drop me an email to grip (the @ sign) RPGRealms.com and let me know about it!
2320 Stuff
It's in my court now (I know groans all around...). I have the basic layout material from Ted and after I get Travis going again on the Solomani Ship's TA the print version of 2320 is my next job to tackle. Trust me, I want that sucker out as much as the rest of you! Once the layout is done we'll update the PDF in the eLibrary and on RPGNow/DTRPG so everyone that purchased the original can get the final version if you want it. We'll also make the book available through LuLu as well.
Other Stuff
I am working on a fairly big (non-Traveller or RPG related) project with Marc. For now it's still under the hat, but we hope to making some real noise about it in the next month or so.
Well that's about it I think.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled web surfing.
